Kickoff Youth Soccer Consulting LLC (“Kickoff,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a knowledge platform for competitive youth soccer players, available as a website and a mobile app (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: your name and email address when you create an account.
• Subscription information: your subscription status and billing records. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment processors (Apple and Stripe) and are not stored by Kickoff.
• Survey responses: answers you provide to in-app surveys used to personalize your recommendations.
• Communications: messages you send us through support or contact forms.

AI Coach conversations

We do not store your AI Coach conversations. Your messages are sent to our AI providers to generate a response in real time and are not retained by Kickoff.

One exception: when the AI Coach cannot fully answer a question, we log the text of that question — not linked to your identity — so we can improve and expand our content. We do not store the AI Coach’s answers or your other messages.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data: how you interact with the Service, app and feature usage, device type, operating system, and similar technical information, collected through analytics and error-monitoring tools.
• Learning progress: which guides, videos, and learning tracks you have completed.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• authenticate you and manage your account and subscription;
• respond to your AI Coach questions and personalize learning recommendations;
• process payments and manage subscriptions;
• monitor, debug, and improve the Service;
• communicate with you about your account, updates, and support; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service, and only as needed to perform their functions:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and storage.
• Apple and RevenueCat — in-app subscription processing and entitlement management (iOS).
• Stripe — subscription payment processing (web).
• OpenAI and Voyage AI — processing AI Coach messages to generate responses in real time.
• Vimeo — hosting and streaming video content.
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Sentry — error monitoring.
• Resend — sending transactional emails (e.g., password resets).

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

4. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for competitive youth soccer players and is designed to be used with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for your account and agrees to this Policy on your behalf.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us personal information without your consent, contact us at the email below and we will delete it.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete your account and associated personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, for tax or legal purposes).

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and update: you can view and update your account information in the app.
• Delete your account: you can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from the Account screen in the app (or the upgrade screen if you do not have an active subscription).
• Manage subscriptions: manage or cancel through the App Store (iOS) or the Stripe billing portal (web).
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, or deletion) under laws like the GDPR or CCPA. To exercise these, contact us.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Users

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to processing your information in the United States.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date, and where appropriate, notify you within the Service.
